Headache

I used to get what i feel are tension headaches once every three months, but in the past year they have become more frequent. They last for as little as 6 hours and have lasted as long as 16 hours. They get so bad i want to scream. When I do take over the counter medication I usuallt have to take a combination of asprin, tylenol, and excedrin tension headache to get rid of it because just taking one kind does not work. If anyone can help me deal with it I would appreciate it.
