SUNGLASSES FOR MACULAR DEGENERATION

Post a new topicby Elva on Sun Nov 08, 2009 12:47 am

Normal sunglasses are unsuitable and do not help at all for the low vision problems associated with AMD. Have been told blue blockers are good, have one pair (Jonathan Paul) but cannot obtain these now and wonder who is stocking them?

Any other help with blue blockers would be so beneficial, as would like to be able to drive just a little longer, bright light is disaster without the sunglasses, the world is fog.
dull light is also a big problem, and distressing, sometimes needing the glasses to take any glare off road if wet in particular.

Any help with the correct sunglasses would be appreciated.
